Paris-based fashion house VSP and Hussein Chalayan have announced a three-season collaboration, which will see VSP’s signature leather reinterpreted by Chalayan

The London-based designer of Turkish-Cypriot origin will create a womenswear capsule collection featuring 20 pieces, which is described as "melding artistic and architectural references" and "create brave new forms," – Chalayan's declared specialty.

The collection will debut simultaneously with the opening of VSP's first Paris flagship in September at 19 Rue Debelleyme in the Marais.

Speaking of the collaboration, Hussein explained that this project is the "First of its kind for the Chalayan brand, I feel that the collection will be a strong culmination of design, innovation, craftsmanship, playfulness and desirability," with VSP's chief executive officer and creative director Kadri Soygül adding: "[a] collaboration with a fashion designer and artist like Hussein will not only bring a new dimension to our brand, but to the innovative luxury market in general."
