Hermès announce new womenswear designer

And the title goes to...

Today, the iconic French fashion house announced the nomination of Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski as artistic director of women's ready-to-wear with effect from the Autumn/Winter collection 2015

Since Christophe Lemaire's departure from Hermes this week, rumours of who his successor would be can now be put to rest as the label has given the title to the 36-year-old native French talent Nadège Vanhee.

The Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts d'Anvers graduate will present her first collection of women's ready to wear for Hermès in March 2015."I am delighted to be joining Hermès, a house I so admire and whose values I share wholeheartedly." Vanhee said about her new role.

Axel Dumas, Chief Executive Officer of Hermès commented "We welcome the arrival of Nadège. Her talent and her creative track record will be great assets in the continued development of women's ready-to-wear. She will devote herself full-time to our house".
