Hearst to launch Elle 'Wedding'
For better or worse
Following on from the news that publishing firm Hearst will be taking some of its titles exclusively online, and launching new print concepts in the future, it's UK arm has now released details of Elle Wedding – due to launch later this month and hitting newsstands on September 9.
The 200-page issue will span content on wedding-related beauty, fashion, accessories, travel and event planning inspiration, all under the tagline of "individuality not conformity", with the cover featuring a bridal look by Chloé, shot by photographer David Vasiljevic.
The title will have the same production values of Elle UK, Hearst said, with "intelligent writing," and photographic portfolios by major fashion photographers all part of its content. The magazine's editorial team, led by its Editor-in-Chief Lorraine Candy, will work across the new title. Candy said: "there is no other luxury bridal magazine like it on the UK newsstand. Elle Wedding reinvents the concept of bridal titles and will help the bride showcase her own style."
