H&M release 10 year anniversary book on its designer collaborations
Starting with with Karl
It's really quite hard to believe that 10 years has passed since Karl Lagerfeld did a one-off collaboration for H&M - and the fashion industry has never been the same.
"Inexpensive is not 'cheap' anymore, that's why the luxury industry has to make an even bigger effort. I think all that is very healthy." Lagerfeld states in The First Ten Years, a commemorative book that H&M is releasing on November 6, in tandem with its latest tie-up with Alexander Wang.
The book goes on sale in 250 H&M stores worldwide, with 25% of its sales going towards UNICEF. There will also be a retrospective exhibition on each collaboration that begins in the flagship H&M store on Fifth Avenue in New York, on October 27.
