The GRAMMY Awards 2015: Best of the Red Carpet
Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian West and more...
Kicking off the evening's red carpet ceremony was the Queen of Pop, Madonna, as she made a bold statement in her Riccardo Tisci-designed matador-inspired ensemble – matching the style of her brand new music video for single Living for Love, which she also performed for the first time at last night's Grammy Awards.
Gwen Stefani shined in a black Atelier Versace jumpsuit, and Ariana Grande hit the red carpet in a white asymmetrical gown – also courtesy of Donatella. Meanwhile, favouring some Lebanese talent, Katy Perry wore a sparkling Zuhair Murad dress paired with striking purple hair, while Taylor Swift looked polished in an emerald Elie Saab gown.
Power couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West caused a frenzy with Kim rocking a heavily-embellished Jean Paul Gaultier robe dress and a new short hairdo, whilst hubby West opted for a slightly more demure look with his skinny black leather pant and boot attire. The Kardashian-West's friends Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend were also a hot contender for best dressed couple – Teigen glowed in an all-white Emilio Pucci number, whilst her husband looked dapper in charcoal grey suiting.
FourFiveSeconds singer Rihanna also brought some star power to the red carpet as she posed in a frilly pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown and messy bun. RiRi's super-girly frock was the opposite of what Grammy winner Beyoncé wore, who (proving that the colour black is always a good idea) looked elegant in a body-hugging, custom-made Proenza Schouler lace gown, whilst her husband Jay Z opted for a Burberry modern fit English-woven wool and mohair tuxedo with contrast shawl collar in black silk.
Australian singer Sia, kept up her dedication for shying away from the cameras – this time pairing an over-sized blonde wig, which shielded her face, with a custom Giorgio Armani ensemble, with young dancer Maddie Ziegler wearing a matching mini version of the same look. Fellow nominee, and Aussie Iggy Azalea also opted for an Armani-designed outfit – selecting a bespoke short-sleeved gown in electric blue silk crepe, with revealing cut-out detailing on the sides.
