The 72nd Golden Globes 2015: The Best of the Red Carpet
See the stars who stole the show...
On Sunday in the City of Angels, big names from film and television stepped out for the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards, which was hosted by funny girls Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
The glamourous red carpet's theme actually saw a lot of the colour yellow, with actresses like Naomi Watts, sporting Gucci, Jenna Dewan Tatum in Carolina Herrera and Leslie Mann draped in a beaded Kaufmanfranco, all standing out from the crowd in the vibrant hue.
Strapless necklines were a trend at this year's Golden Globes too, as Viola Davis wore a strapless gown from Donna Karen Atelier, while Emma Stone stuck to trousers wearing a crystal embroidered Lanvin jumpsuit. Joshua Jackson looked incredibly dapper and stood alongside his wife Diane Kruger who wore a metallic, floor-sweeping dress by Emilia Wickstead. And on the graphic side, Keira Knightley, Claire Danes and Anna Kendrick were seen in prints from the likes of Chanel, Valentino and Monique Lhuillier.
Meanwhile Jessica Chastain and Kate Hudson both channelled old Hollywould glamour, rocking sparkling Atelier Versace gowns with plunging necklines, “It’s not just a good-time dress, it’s…I’m stuttering because it’s so amazing…I feel like it’s some movie star character I’m playing in this dress,” Chastian said.
Jennifer Lopez sported some glitz too – in a beautiful silver gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. George Clooney's wife Amal Alamuddin also made in impact as she donned a chic black Dior number paired with white long gloves and a #JeSuisCharlie pin on her clutch – packing a glamourous and political punch as she strode into the Beverly Hills Hilton.
