Globe Trotter debut two new watch cases
It's time to add to your luggage collection
Purveyors of luxury luggage – Globe Trotter – have released two new watch cases in response to high demand from dedicated customers of the heritage brand. The new cases are available in 'classic' and 'luxe' editions and bare all the hallmarks of the expert craftsmanship synonymous with the luxury leather house.
The beautiful new pieces can hold up to six watches and feature a cushioned lid to protect the valuables within. Watch pillows with a soft coating nestle within an ivory leather top tray and the luxe edition also features an additional bottom tray, perfect for storing cufflinks and tie pins.
The luxe edition watch case is crafted from Urushi lacquered vulcanised fibreboard and a burgundy leather trim, whilst inside it features champagne silk and ivory leather. Whilst the classic edition is crafted from grey vulcansied fibreboard and comes with a natural leather trim, completed with soft chamel interior and leather details.
Globe Trotter luggage has accompanied some very discerning travellers in the past including Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth (ever since her 1947 honeymoon) and even intrepid explorers such as Sir Edmund Hilary during his stay at base camp on Mount Everest.
The classic is priced at £625 and the luxe at £1,250 – available online and at select boutiques now
