First look: Givenchy Pre-Fall 2015

Black is the new black

For Pre-Fall, Riccardo Tisci created a modern, graphic lineup with edgy undertones – all predominately black with pops of pretty patterns...

Givenchy stuck to its core for its latest collection, focusing on sleek separates and easy layering with tailored tops – for both men and women – aviator jackets, long coats intermixed with reversible leather belts, roomy midi-length skirts, chiffon blouses with extra-long and skinny scarves, and dapper pantsuits.

Ricardo Tisci made use of leather and Givenchy's signature cherry blossom and baby's breath print to give his designs that distinctive Tisci touch. The Italian designer also added some romance to the dark collection with floral dresses and blouses, as well as draped silhouettes, which came in the shape of lightweight evening gowns.
