Giambattista Valli opens first store in Italy
His own world
Giambattista Valli will set up shop in his home country this coming February during Fashion Week. The 1,400 square metre space will showcase his ready-to-wear collection and accessory line including shoes, handbags, jewellery and furs. The designer will open a boutique in Via Sant'Andrea that he has designed himself with the help of architect Luigi Scialanga.
"To open up a boutique," Valli says, "is the best way to present your own world, as well as the philosophy and the lifestyle that come with it. The idea for this boutique of mine comes from the desire to open up 'Valli Houses' all over the world, each one of them is dedicated to the local culture and style, so that we can welcome there the new friends who want to share my vision..."
