John Galliano to pass on Men's Fashion Week in Paris next month
A sign of things to come for the brand?
The brand is absent from the preliminary Men's Fashion Week calendar just released by the French Fashion Federation. The calendar – which lists all presenting designers in the haute couture, ready-to-wear and menswear fashion weeks – counts over fifty shows across five days from June 25–29.
The reason behind the brand's decision to sit out Men's Fashion Week this season is yet to be officially announced, but it has been speculated that the fashion house is searching for a new manufacturing partner and hopes to resume its menswear collection in January.

Designed now by Bill Gaytten – the man who immediately succeeded Galliano in the wake of his now infamous Dior departure – the future now looks perhaps uncertain for John Galliano, the brand.
Galliano himself no longer has any involvement with either Dior, or his namesake label, and coincidentally its departure from the Paris men's schedule comes just days after the announcement of his own upcoming venture as Creative Director of Russian beauty chain, L'Etoile.
