Freja Beha Erichsen designs charitable collection for Zadig & Voltaire
Following in Erin Wasson's footsteps
Adding to the list of cool collaborations of the season so far is model Freja Beha Erichsen, who has created a collection for fashion label Zadig & Voltaire – making quite the sartorial match for the 26-year-old Danish fashion star's signature androgynous style.
The line features key staples that include a vintage-feel denim jacket, leather bag and a sheer black T-shirt, plus, the collection supports international charity Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), which has provided aid to war-torn regions and developing countries facing endemic diseases since 1971.
Forty per cent of all profits made from the creative collaboration with Erichsen – who is also a previously face of the label – will go to the charity. Furthermore, she has made each piece instantly recognisable due to the imprint of the number '87' on each piece; her year of birth.
