France honours fashion's finest
Elbaz, Dumas, Troublé
The French government has bestowed France's highest civilian honours to fashion bigwigs Alber Elbaz, Axel Dumas and Agnès Troublé. Founded by Napolean Bonaparte, the French Legion of Honour is the epitome of civilian honour.
While Hermes' CEO, Axel Dumas, was inducted into the elite company, Lanvin's former Creative Direcotr Elbaz and designer Agnès Troublé of Agnès b., both received promotions. Elbaz, who first received his knighthood in 2009 is now and Officer, while Troublé went from an Officer, which was awarded in 2000, to a Commander of the Order.
