Forbes reveals the world’s highest paid models of 2014
Bündchen, Doutzen, Upton and more
This year, with estimated earnings of $47 million during the past year from different modelling contracts and other business ventures, Brazilian beauty Gisele Bündchen was given the title of world's highest-paid model for the eighth consecutive year by Forbes.
The 34-year-old wife of American footballer Tom Brady and mother of two easily beat out her closest competition, Dutch Victoria's Secret 'angel' Doutzen Kroes, 29, with earnings of US$8 million – before taxes and fees – and fellow Brazilian model Adriana Lima, 33, with the same amount.
Forbes calculated the earnings of the models from June 2013 to June 2014, looking at their income from cosmetics, endorsements, advertising and fragrance deals. Also among the top earners was British model Kate Moss, 40, raking in $7 million, as well as American model Kate Upton, 22, who earned the same amount, rounding out the top five.
Other newcomers to the list of the 21 highest paid models include English model Cara Delevingne, 22, and all-American girl Karlie Kloss, 22.
