With South American influence

From flocked pieces and draped suede down to cool leather boots – some designs could perhaps even have been inspired by a Mexican blanket.

Taking the springtime silhouette to South America, the designer duo behind Proenza Schouler have played with textures and created an almost seventies style feel.

For evening, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez amped things up without crossing the line. A trompe l'oeil top-and-skirt dress was decked out in circular sequins and beads for a look that managed to pull off a chic and conservative appeal, whilst a neat, full on burgundy leather ensemble most certainly takes our pick from the gaucho themed edit.
