First look: Harvey Nichols 'Been Trill' collection

This week, London department store Harvey Nichols joins forces with Been Trill to create an edgy 15 piece unisex capsule collection...

Blurring the lines between fashion, art and music, the new project, which partially debuted at Harvey Nichols yesterday, begins with a series of T-shirts designed by menswear designers; Kim Jones, Hardy Amies, Gareth Pugh, Shaun Samson, A.Sauvage and Been Trill – the street wear brand, artists' and DJ collective.

In Decemeber, fifteen complete looks from the unique group will be sold in store, solidifying Been Trill's place in the world of fashion.

Some of the pieces include a jacquard tuxedo with a reversible waistcoat in black nylon by Hardy Amies, a biker-inspired full length leather coat and biker jeans by A. Sauvage, with Pugh producing cape-backed jersey tops and winged trousers.

Been Trill have "taken the social platforms by storm and created a unique collective of music, art and fashion curators," said Darren Skey, Menswear Buying and Merchandise Manager at Harvey Nichols. "Together with (them) we have hand-selected British designers that encapsulate the entire men's wear spectrum, from Savile Row to street fashion creating an exciting proposition."
