Paris Fashion Week: Loewe Spring/Summer 15
As Julia Nobis opened the Spring/Summer 15 show in a sandy suede look made up of multiple roughly stitched patches, it was clear that Anderson bought a taste of Bedrock to the Avenue Montaigne...
Silhouettes were kept simple as the new creative director zoned in on primal craftsmanship and classic Loewe leathers. Standout pieces included a series of high waisted baggy trousers that tied at the waist, beige crotchet halter tops and a black column dress which had colourful decomposed shapes tacked to it.
Between the mix of Anderson's organic shapes and earthy colour palette, the Irish designer's creations looked back at what made Loewe so iconic yet introduced his own signature flare of modernity and minimalism.
