Elijah Wood and Beyoncé pose for new wordless magazine
Herring & Herring's publishing debut
Created by photographers Dimitri Scheblanov and Jesper Carlsen, Herring & Herring is a new title that will be hitting magazine stands this September. The creative duo – who have produced images for clients such as Gucci and Vice magazine – will release their second issue and first available to the public, titled 'Framed'.
Each issue is guided by a unique theme and title while maintaining fashion and portrait photography its focus. The 100-page compilation features humorous and glamorous images of celebrity subjects, from actor Elijah Wood living out a day in suburban Hollywood to Beyoncé slyly smoking a cigar.
"We feel that the type of photography that we do and the way that we've approached our career is very different from how young photographers approach their work," said Scheblanov. "Instead of taking one visual style to serve as our signature, we decided to pick a conceptual approach over a stylistic approach."
