First look: Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2015

A folk fairytale

Channeling his inner nomad, the Lebanese designer presented a Pre-Fall collection filled with fur, floral patterns and delicate embellishment

Elie Saab's plan for Pre-Fall 15 was to "infuse finery into folk fantasy with the modern nomad in mind" – according to his notes, and that's exactly what he did.  The bold lineup featured black lace gowns, embroidered in a graphic red and purple floral pattern, while more daytime looks had the same motif but on flared trousers and fitted jumpers.

Outerwear made an equally vibrant assertation via fur jackets and boxy hats. With Saab also infusing his signature touch of floral embroidery onto a black velvet maxi coat that looked fit for a Queen in a folk fantasy.
