Watch now: Donald Drawbertson and Brian Atwood discuss their recent collaboration
Featuring limited edition sketches, shoes and book
As you most likely know by now, Buro 24/7 favourite Donald 'Drawbertson' Robertson, is an artist who presents his fashion and current affairs-inspired, made-by-gaffer-tape illustrations, as well as detailing his daily life as a father, to over 100,000 Instagram followers.
Via his nomination for the CFDA's Fashion Instagrammer of the Year Award earlier this year, the creative talent met shoe designer Brian Atwood, and the pair formed a friendship – calling themselves 'insta-friends'. They decided recently to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis and partnered with Gavel&Grand, a site that holds charity auctions of luxury products and experiences, where visitors bid across ten different original illustrations by Robertson of various Brian Atwood shoes and clutches from his AW14 collection, plus five shoe styles adorned with a Donald Robertson lip print, and one lucky bidder who received a custom-made portrait.
In addition comes a limited edition book of the illustrator's Brian Atwood inspired work, which is available now at the 511 Gallery in New York.
