Flying high in the new digital era
Gone are the days when brands would settle for a monthly glossy to do their advertising – as Dior demonstrate with its new plans for Autumn/Winter 14. The heritage brand has revealed that its new creative campaign on airport screens in China, France, the U.S, Italy and the U.K, and the adding that it would "significantly increase" digital banners.
Shot by Willy Vanderperre, the campaign consists of 15 and 30 second video clips, which will debut at the end of July in China, and then feature at the New York, London and Paris fashion weeks in September.
The digital videos give life to the AW14 print campaign, which presents a small group of women lounging in an apartment furnished in midcentury style. The print campaign breaks on Friday in full via Harper's Bazaar Singapore and shows runway looks by Raf Simons worn by Fei Fei Sun, Helena Severin, Kasia Jujeczka and Julia Nobis.
