Will David Beckham branch out in creating his own sportswear collection for men? According to sources he just might, as has been seen talking to several companies about the new venture

Over the past few years David Beckham has been continuing to raise his fashion profile with a variety of different collaborations, including his swimwear and body wear deal with H&M, a men's frangrance partnership with Coty Inc, apparel with Adidas and becoming the face of Belstaff's 2014 global campaign  shot by Peter Lindbergh. The British fashion brand even launched a special Beckham for Belstaff Collection, in which the footballer designed.

Now, along with his past successful collaborations, it has been said that David Beckham will continue working in the world of fashion  aiming to create his own casual sportswear line – as he apparently has had several meeting with Li & Fung, a consumer goods company based in Hong Kong, with Li & Fung officials declining to comment on the matter.

Simon Fuller, chief executive officer of XIX Entertainment in London, who serves as Beckham's advisor and the mastermind responsible for Victoria and David Beckham's fashion and commercial empire, could also not be reached for a comment.

With Beckham's new H&M line of swimwear hitting stores in May, sources said the retired-sports star is eager to continue building his role in fashion and hopes to build a David Beckham lifestyle brand that would have people bearing his own label.
