Anne Valérie Hash joins Comptoir des Cotonniers
A new Creative Diroector for the label
Comptoir des Cotonniers' Autumn/Winter 15 collection will be its first under new management, since this week it named exciting Parisian design talent and couturier Anne Valérie Hash its new Creative Director.
A spokesman for the innovative brand confirmed the appointment, with Hash succeeding Amélie Gillier, who left the company in November.
The appointment represents a new beginning for the designer, who earlier this year had to close her signature label amid challenging economic times for independent fashion companies, she is however, considered one of French fashion's bravest entrepreneurs – playing on masculine signature silhouettes as jumpsuits and tuxedos that showed during Haute Couture week in Paris, rather than ready-to-wear.
The Fast Retailing Co. Ltd is also the 'parent company' of Uniqlo and Link Theory.
