Charlotte Olympia opens first stand-alone store in Asia
The designer weaves her glamorous web in Hong Kong
Designed to evoke old Hollywood glamour, the new space is located at The Landmark and carries the designer's namesake line, Charlotte Olympia. Interior design touches include the brand's signature gold spider web in the window, a mirrored wall and leopard-print furniture.
"The Asian market is one the brand has been focused on over the last year," said Dellal, "I couldn't have hoped for a better location within the Landmark to open my first store in Asia."
Dellal also has shops in London, New York, Los Angeles and Miami, celebrating the Hong Kong opening with a spy-themed cocktail party for VIP customers and guests last Wednesday. Her pre-fall collection, called Eye-Spy was inspired by Bettie Page and is in-stores now.
"I always love visiting Hong Kong. I love meeting women who love shoes as much as I do," stated the designer, "It's great to see my designs being worn and get firsthand feedback from my customers, which is invaluable."
