Celebrating Coco's love of travel, Chanel has set its sights on the Far East for an exiting new exhibition in Seoul – the capital of South Korea

It doesn't seem long since the French fashion house staged its Middle Eastern masterpiece in Dubai for Cruise 2014/15, yet the brand is on the move again – this time to Korea.

'The Sense of Places' is a new 'Culture Chanel' exhibit, and will trace Coco Chanel’s creative voice via the locations that she either lived in or that enriched her distinct, stylistic language. It is known she was a woman who loved to travel.

The exhibition will run from August 30 until October 5 this year, at the new Dongdaemun Design Plaza, in a building designed by Zaha Hadid.

It is said to be built around more than 500 photographs, books, objects, manuscripts, archives and artworks along with Chanel’s fashionjewellery, watch and perfume creations.
