Chanel reveals a new watch campaign by Patrick Demarchelier
The full shoot will be released this summer
Shot by fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, 'L'Instant Chanel' will be the brand's first institutional watch campaign in more than a decade, featuring 15 double-page ads of contrasting graphic black-and-white images of women and men with the watches hands positioned to mirror each model's pose.
The stunning imagery – styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele – was first revealed at the Baselworld watch and jewellery fair in Switzerland, which ends today.
The beautiful visuals explore watches from Chanel's Première, J12 and Mademoiselle Privé collections. In one image, model Sharam Diniz is photographed on the left hand side hanging from rings above the sea, while on the left hand side a J12 has the time set at 6 o'clock, reflecting the model's strong linear pose.
The full edit of new images will start appearing in international daily, weekly and digital press around mid-May.
