Here's what we know about CHANEL's next Cruise collection
CHANEL's most recent Cruise collection consisted of pieces that will see through a trip around the Mediterranean. Originally scheduled to be showcased in Capri, the Cruise '21 showcase turned to technology instead due to the pandemic and revealed the desirable pieces virtually.
Now, the Maison is getting ready to present its 2021/22 Cruise collection and whilst we're uncertain if it will be a physical show, here's what we do know.
The show is scheduled to take place on May 4, 2021.
The collection will be revealed at the Carrières de Lumières, located in the village of Les Baux-de-Provence, in the south of France.
The Carrières de Lumières is a former quarry with art-based multimedia shows, projecting images of famous paintings set to music. In 1959, the white limestone quarries were used as a backdrop of the film Le Testament d'Orphée (Testament of Orpheus), of whom the director Jean Cocteau, was a friend of Gabrielle Chanel.
