The CFDA and Porsche team up for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer
Starring Maria Sharapova
A special gala was held last night in the Sky Room at the New Museum in SoHo, New York City, where The Council of Fashion Designers of America and Porsche threw a cocktail party supporting '20 Years of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer' – the charity founded in 1994 by Ralph Lauren.
CFDA CEO Steven Kolb played host to guest of honour Maria Sharapova, who arrived in a Porsche – naturally – and carrying a Porsche Design handbag, otherwise her dress was by Marc Jacobs and shoes by Aquazurra. "The CFDA and Porsche have organised an amazing party in honour of the 20th anniversary of FTBC. I'm really excited that I am the face of the campaign this year!" Said the tennis star.
