Cate Blanchett on the cover of 'Herself' magazine
For the title's sixth edition, 'The Amazing Issue'
In a totally new way of reporting fashion and approaching the idea of visuals in a magazine, HERSELF magazine celebrates the power of clothes, the overwhelming status of brands, and mainly – the never-ending fascination with celebrity and icons.
Its illustrated format allows for the setting of its pages to break boundaries of time and space, literally travelling everywhere. Past covers have seen sketches of Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Florence Welch for the 'Four Seasons Issue' as well as Kristen Stewart and a traditional cartoon depiction of Snow White for the 'Double Issue'.
This time, it's the turn of Cate Blanchett to take the spotlight, in an attractive and abstract drawing covering the title's sixth edition, out on March 5.
