First look: Carven Pre-Fall 2015

Office attire

Marking his final collection for Carven, Guillaume Henry — who started his new job as creative director of Nina Ricci this week — unveiled a clean-cut Pre-Fall wardrobe this week, featuring both function and elegance

With the collection title, 'A Day in the Office', Guillaume Henry designed uniform-like polo shirts, jumpers with silk twill and graphic asymmetrical skirts with vintage cassette print on it for his last Carven offerings. Playing on old-school graphics, other looks featured images of old television sets, while colour-blocking patterns were seen throughout the chic lineup.

Using a retro-tinged palette of mostly brown, navy, beige and burgundy, the ensembles gave off a warm and wearable vibe along with a whimsical and charming energy that Henry made sure to showcase as his departing flair.
