Reports have surfaced that Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book is on a rocky road – blaming the split between Visionaire and V's Stephen Gan and Cecilia Dea, the former of which, is Carina Roitfeld's longtime close collaborator and partner on CR Fashion Book

Last week, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld, had a very good week –debuting her impressive mammoth collaboration with Harper's Bazaar. This weekend however things have turned a little sour after a tabloid publication has claimed that Roitfeld's beloved namesake publication CR Fashion Book may be in trouble. The reports claim that the plan is not to officially announce CR is closing, but to embark on a soft close. The rumour also states that the whole team are in on it and are "looking for other jobs".

However, Roitfeld has since rubbished the rumours: "Our launch issue in 2012 was 340 pages with 150 ad pages, and this September issue, we are at 344 pages with 154 ad pages," Roitfeld told The Daily.

It does certainly seem to be odd timing, since Roitfeld has just recently opened a dedicated CR Fashion Book office in New York on Hudson and Spring Streets – the CR team previously utilised the V and Visionaire offices.
