With a charitable cause

This week, Vestiaire Collective is auctioning off some items from some of your favourite celebrity closets, from Poppy Delevingne’s Chanel tweed jack to Kim Kardashian’s black Balenciaga dress

It is time to shop and feel good about it, as website Vestiaire Collective has given the new StyleCycle auction a philanthropic element to it. With the price of every piece sold, the earnings will go directly to each celebrity's chosen charity, which include Cara and Poppy Delevingne's favoured charity, the Starlight Children's Foundation, while  Laura Bailey, Suki Waterhouse and Stella Tennant, have all nominated the Kids' Company.

Marking its fifth birthday, Vestiaire Collective aims to remind shoppers to further sustainable style practices by encouraging women to "recycle" the high-end pieces in their closets which they dont wear anymore.

"I am personally very excited to launch StyleCycle and celebrate Vestiaire Collective's fifth birthday with such a great mix of talented fashion insiders and style influencers," Vestiaire Collective co-founder Fanny Moizant told Vogue. "They have all been very generous with donating a beautiful piece from their wardrobe to help raise money for their chosen charity. I can't wait to get bidding on a few pieces, especially Caroline de Maigret's Chanel tote and Cara Delevingne's Mulberry bag; two items I definitely need in my wardrobe!"
