Burberry supports Mario Testino's new exhibition in Brazil
The Peruvian photographer unveils 'In Your Face’
This weekend, Brazil's largest city played host to the new photography exhibition by Mario Testino, In Your Face. Glamour filled the air as actors, models and designers were in attendance to show their support towards the famed photographer and his work, including Brazilian model Fernanda Tavares, Brazilian actress Débora Nascimento, Vogue Brazil Style Director Donata Meirelles, British model Suki Waterhouse – who donned a sheer navy Burberry dress – and Burberry's head designer and CEO Christopher Bailey.
Speaking after the exhibition, Bailey said "It is a great honor to be able to support Mario at his exhibition here in São Paulo. Burberry has a long history of collaboration with Mario, which has produced some amazing results. It's a privilege to work alongside him. His unique style is unmistakable and his creativity shines through in everything he does."
The exhibition will feature many of Testino's most daring pieces, giving his viewers a unique insight into his fashion-filled world through 122 personally selected images.
Speaking about the new exhibition, the photographer stated "I am thrilled to bring In Your Face to São Paulo at FAAP, as they were the first to give me a show back in 1998. I admire Brazillian culture in so many ways; its architecture, its fine art, its music, its furniture design, so to bring my work to be a part of their cultural program is an honour."
