Bulgari debuts Christmas light installation the heart of Rome
All of the lights
Bulgari are celebrating Christmas 2014 in the heart of Rome, focusing on two of its most iconic collections. The Serpenti collection, which inspired by Cleopatra, who wore the icon when visiting Julius Cesar in Rome in 46 AC and the Diva collection, which was created in homage to the bond between Bulgari and the world of divas and thanks to its distinctive sinuous lines – inspired by the Baths of Caracalla mosaics – it represents an ode to femininity.
To mark its new festive installation, Italian actress Chiara Francini hosted the inauguration ceremony with Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin and the President of the Via Condotti Retailers' Association, Gianni Battistoni. The launch of the historic Roman Street's new décor also welcomed Gianni Letta, former State Undersecretary.
Jean-Christophe Babin said: "Lighting up Christmas in this magnificent street in the year of the Maison's 130th anniversary held a special meaning for Bulgari. During 2014, not only did Bulgari celebrate the reopening of the legendary store in Via Condotti, but also donated 1.5 Million Euro to the city of Rome to renovate the Spanish Steps. Giving Via Condotti a festive Christmas look makes us proud to be able to once again pay tribute to the city of Rome, an eternal source of inspiration and the heart of our history."
