It's confirmed: Valentino's Co-Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri is leaving the Italian luxury fashion house. This leaves her former design partner Pierpaolo Piccioli the sole man in charge of the maison. The pair began their association with the brand in 1999, starting with a unique accessories project. In 2007, they were appointed creative heads for the accessories division before being handed full creative control of the maison in 2008. On its website, Valentino states that Chiuri is exiting the fashion house "to pursue a new professional experience".
