First look: Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2015

Seasonal synergy

Using a jewel-toned colour palette, Tomas Maier presented a collection with vibrant and graphic ensembles for Pre-Fall, managing to keep the warmth felt throughout summer

Keeping hues saturated, with the use of purple, green, blue, orange and red, Bottega Veneta's Pre-Fall 15 lineup was well balanced, wearable and wickedly desirable.

Throughout the 33-piece collection, designs were kept smart and casual, take the set of luxurious knits paired with knee-length floral patterned skirts or the silk trousers worn with a baggy cashmere V-necks. "Everything has a bit of a fall attitude, but the material is very light," said Maier.

A lot of the collection was more complex than it seemed as dresses that appeared to be a heavy herringbone fabric were made from a linen blend and sporty structured jackets appeared stiff, when they were actually light and adaptable.
