Bloomsbury Auctions to sell original and signed Kate Moss polaroids
Forming part of her first Vogue cover shoot
She may well be getting into the festive spirit at present, but Kate Moss' past is catching up with her – in a good way. Three unique 'Polacolour' prints of the supermodel taken in 1994 by Italian fashion photographer Paolo Roversi for Vogue Paris will be auctioned at Bloomsbury Auctions' Photographs & Photobooks next week.
Each is signed, titled and dated in pencil with Polaroid stamp verso, and are estimated to reach upwards of seven thousand pounds each.
"These unique images of Moss in alluring black feathers with an inky blue colouring are from the photoshoot that brought us her first Vogue front cover. Roversi's ethereal style has captured the mysterious young Moss with shots that remain striking and beautiful today." Said Sarah Wheeler, head of photography at Bloomsbury Auctions.
The Photographs & Photobooks sale will be held at Dreweatts & Bloomsbury Auctions saleroom in London's Mayfair on November 21.
