Decoded Fashion has announced a pioneering awards ceremony that will take place in London on May 21, in partnership with the British Fashion Council (BFC). Titled the 'Future Fashion Awards', the new concept aims to commend the evolution and intertwining of technology and the fashion industry.

Categories at the Fashion Future Awards are set to include: 'The Game Changer', which will be awarded to a start-up business that has forced us to change the way we look at fashion in 2015; 'Bytes and Bricks' for the best visual and interactive in-store experience; and 'Beyond the Runway', which will applaud the most engaging digital marketing campaign. An award called 'The Visionary' will also be bestowed upon an individual who the British Fashion Council (BFC) and Decoded Fashion believe to be pushing the limitations between fashion and technology.

Panellists are said to include many renowned figures in both industries including Uri Minkoff CEO of Rebecca Minkoff, Caroline Rush chief executive of the BFC, Peter Fitzgerald country sales director at Google U.K, the founder of Decoded Fashion, Liz Bacelar and the editor of British GQ Dylan Jones.

Submissions for the Fashion Future Awards opens today and the deadline for entries is April 24. Winners will be revealed at the ceremony in London on May 21.
