Another major US fashion label has announced it will now offer extended sizing
The new norm.
Size inclusivity has been a hot topic in the fashion industry in recent seasons, and rightly so. Several of the world's top and biggest brands have announced changes to their sizing structure, making their designs all the more accessible to a greater range of women. Now, following in the footsteps of J. Crew, Madewell, Reformation, Veronica Beard, major US retailer Anthropologie has announced it is expanding its size range.
The brand is creating a new line, called A+nthropologie (or A Plus, if you will), which features 120 pieces from its Spring 2019 line-up including from its own line as well as house brands. They will range in size from US16-26.
Speaking of the new collection, Richa Srivastava, the Director of Design, said in a statement, "Only in the past year or so did we arrive at a a place where we were confident we could execute in a considered way, and deliver a collection that would suit her wants and needs — and ultimately bring her joy."
A+nthropologie launches on March 15. As of right now, the brand isn't available in the Middle East (though there's rumours it's coming!) so now's the time to put that Shop&Ship account to good use.
