Following his esteemed past post at Vogue and a recent stint heading up a company called Zappos Couture, André Leon Talley is on to his next fashion project

Former Vogue editor-at-large André Leon Talley will be the new fashion and style director for musician Will.i.am and his i.am.Puls fashion bracelet.

Similar to a smartwatch, the i.am.Puls was revealed last month and incorporates the ability for the user to make calls, send texts, post to social media, play music and track fitness by one wrist-device.

"He is one of the most positive, charismatic [people], and is a great visionary and philanthropist," said the fashion editor of the music producer. "We have been talking since September, and he invited me to San Francisco to speak at Dreamforce, when he presented the new product to a room of 5,000 people."

Will.i.am has been developing the 'Puls' for over two years through his own firm, i.am+, which employs around 50 people. Talley, meanwhile, is in the middle of writing his second memoir, Enchanting Angels.
