First look: Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2015

All about the chase

For Pre-Fall, Joseph Altuzarra looked at the British tradition of hunting, borrowing elements from the countryside activity – from the khaki-coloured utility gear to the tailored plaid jackets

Altuzarra's latest collection gives the classic English wardrobe a new edge with the use of sharp and feminine tailoring – fusing utilitarian colouring and embellishment with a modern city flair.

The collection is loaded with green cotton, leopard-printed goatskin and a vibrant houndstooth pattern, seen on an array of items from jumpsuits and hunting jackets to pencil skirts and loose blouses. The American designer feminises the masculine outerwear through organised lines, body-hugging silhouettes and pretty details.

Stand out looks include a white knee-length skirt with a slit going up in the centre, tied with a black leather string that's paired with a matching blazer and leopard print heels. As well as a khaki jacket lined with white Mongolian fur – a new take on Altuzarra's signature parka.
