Adidas take three of Nike's top designers

The profits may be down at Adidas, but it looks as though its not without good reason. The sportswear giant has announced some huge new deals recently

Not only was Adidas the official partner of the 2014 World Cup, collaborated with Real Madrid and Yohji Yamamoto, sponsored Manchester United in a record breaking deal and convinced Kanye West to ditch Nike in favour of the 'three stripes'. Adidas has also now secured three of Nike's top designers.

Denis Dekovic, Marc Dolce and Mark Miner have jumped ship in favour of the German brand in recent weeks.

Their CVs include the following; Denis Dekovic was instrumental in the creation of the Nike Magista Obra cleats, while Mark Miner headed up the Nike Running footwear division, overseeing the launch of the Nike Free Run+, and Marc Dolce was in a key component of Nike Sportswear and Nike Basketball.

In the official statement, Adidas also mentions the formation of a new Brooklyn Creative Design Studio, which will strengthen its technical design expertise... Watch this space, sports fans.
