A major film festival is set to receive an added dose of luxury as Philipp Plein plans a co-ed fashion show. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

It's confirmed! Fashion label Philipp Plein has revealed that he will showcase both men's and women's Resort '18 collections at the 70th Cannes Film Festival next month. To be held at the German designer's own La Jungle du Roi estate, the show will also see the unveiling of the Alec Monopoly for Philipp Plein capsule collection, a line of pieces that fuses the maison's signature luxury artisanship with street art.

"My Cannes villa is a place of tranquility and inspiration for me," said Philipp Plein. "I enjoy spending time here and many of my ideas were conceived on these grounds. I used the same approach in designing this villa as I do for any of my collections, and I am happy to share this special part of my life with others on the occasion of the Philipp Plein Resort '18 presentation alongside the capsule collection launch with my good friend Alec Monopoly."

The Philipp Plein resort show will be held on May 24, 2017. Now, find out where Louis Vuitton is set to show its Cruise '18 collection.
