The 2014 British Fashion Awards in London
Cara Delevingne, Anna Wintour, Victoria Beckham and more...
Honouring the most forward-thinking designers, models and style icons, yesterday saw one of the biggest awards ceremonies in the fashion industry. The red carpet, which had 12kg of loose Swarovski crystals sprinkled over it, dazzled with London's stylish A-listers and international stars who all gathered for to find out the winners of this year's prestigious British Fashion Awards.
Inside the theatre, guests cheered Victoria Beckham who took home 'Brand of the Year' –who opened her first stand-alone store in London's Dover Street this year – and Anya Hindmarch, who won 'Accessories Brand of the Year'. Erdem won 'Designer of the Year' and J.W Anderson received the title of 'Menswear Designer of the Year'.
As Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne – who jetted into to London to pick up her 'Model of the Year' award – took selfies backstage, the 'Special Recognition Award' was given to catwalk photographer and fashion veteran Chris Moore. Meanwhile, Anna Wintour received an 'Outstanding Achievement Award' from John Galliano who made his first public appearance since his appointment at Margiela.
W Magazine's style director Edward Enninful was also among the winners, nabbing the 'Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator', along with Nicolas Ghesquière who received the top honours in the 'International Designer' category, with Charlotte Gainsbourg handing the Frenchman his award.
Other stylish stars in attendance included Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Anna Kendrick, One Direction's Harry Styles, Rita Ora, Alexa Chung, Lily Allen, and Suki Waterhouse. Take a look at the pictures:
