Donatella Versace offers a simple yet seductive collection for AW14, complete with mini-skirts and references to her love of military style

For her latest presentation at Milan Fashion Week, Donatella Versace presented a collection "about the power of a woman." In comparison to her previous portfolio which has often focused on over-the-top glamour, the offering was rather simple.

The collection featured an array of form-fitting trouser suits, paired with double-breasted jackets fashioned with gold buttons. With details such as beaded bejewelled medals, medallions and flirty dresses studded with military buttons, the range exemplified Donatella's love for military costume.

British style star Georgia May Jagger made a runway appearance dressed in a red embellished mini-dress teamed with boots. 'Mini' seemed to be the design length of choice, as the runway featured a selection of models dressed in micro mini-skirts.
