Fluid tailoring, curving volumes and couture fabrics - a collection that is simultaneously wild, classic and athletic

The menswear Lanvin show consisted of tubular coats in lustrous black and herringbone. A series of blouses in patchworks of leather, thick knitwear and glossy furs and neon sneakers with side-striped pants providing an athletic feel to the collection.

Creative Director, Alber Elbaz insisted that it wasn't about being "either classic or wild or athletic, its all of the above" in a statement regarding the collection. Elbaz and his menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver's aim for Autumn/Winter 14 was to demonstrate that luxury can also be wild, athletic and even geeky.
