Ricardo Tisci went back to his Italian roots this season, with a dark collection that showcased beautiful tailoring, a black-and-white colour palette and a subdued sports influence

As a four-seat Cessna airplane hung over the circular catwalk at Givenchy  an installation by Dutch artist Paul Veroude  beefy models with black skullcaps and earplugs took the runway in tailored yet edgy uniformed looks.

Tisci's chic gang, wore strong and sharp silhouettes, some adorned with prints of his favourite flower, gypsophila  also known as baby's breath  paint splatters and stripes. Towards the end of the show, pearl-studded embroidery also appeared, bringing a sense of romance to his menswear, embellished on bomber jackets and trench coats.

Multi-pocket aviator jackets, long tank tops, and printed polo shorts worn with combat boots seemed to be the essence of this year's SS15 collection. In addition to a handful of alluring women's looks also debuting, that featured the same busy prints on short corset-like dresses, blazers and breezy chiffon jackets.
