An unconventional silhouette appeals to J.Crew's new clientele, whilst favourite looks will be welcomed by its regular fans

Inspired by the "mid-twentieth century New York working class", the new Autumn/Winter 14 menswear collection by the American favourite reworks classic staples with a more progressive silhouette – resulting in sharp, modern appeal.

Comprised of blazers, pleated pants, knits with denim, quilted outerwear, easy joggers and simple crew necks, J.Crew's latest offering has a very smart/casual confidence.

Unconventionally-placed pockets, batik scarves and glossy leather shoes completed the accessory punctuation points, thanks to the label's head of menswear design, Frank Muytjens.
