Presenting his SS15 collection for Saint Laurent’s men’s on the same night as Glastonbury, it was clear that Hedi Slimane was continuing his rock ‘n’ roll inspired fashion journey

From Lenny Kravitz to Pete Doherty, Saint Laurent's latest offerings seemed to be targeted to the young festival-goers, with high-fashion takes on ponchos and skinny jeans combined with a touch of the Wild West.

The long-haired models kicked off the show by sporting tight black jeans, held up by brown leather belts and velvet jackets decorated with gold military braiding and black leather biker jackets with fringe. While chic blousons came in velvet and silk, sparkling with a star or floral embroidered pattern.

Influenced by the hippie theme, Slimane included a cool camouflage jacket with gold tassles and floral knitted ponchos worn with skinny scarves or paisley-patterned shawls.

The accessories for this season's range of looks played a large part of Saint Laurent's musical traditions as well. Each model was adorned in layers of chunky silver necklaces, rings and bracelets, to gaucho hats and metallic cowboy boots.

A few women's looks were also thrown into the mix, completing the American 60's atmosphere with long flowing dresses worn with sheepskin-edged vests and leather jackets.
