Marc Jacobs unveils New York-inspired AW15 collection

Homeward bound

With a sense of easy luxury and bohemian sensibility, Marc Jacobs looked at his native surroundings of New York City for Autumn/Winter 2015

Featuring slouchy silhouettes, autumnal colours and cozy fabrics, Marc Jacobs' new menswear lineup had something for everyone, from the Meatpacking District hipster to the broker on Wall Street. The collection was fully loaded with beanies, fuzzy cardigans, chalk-striped ponchos and tailored suits with eye-catching leopard-print linings. Plaids and dark florals also made an appearance on baggy trousers and seventies-style button-ups.

Taking inspiration from iconic men ranging from James Dean to Quentin Crisp, the classic American vibe flowed throughout, with hints of today’s urban New Yorker.
