Hermès launch custom-made service in Dubai
Commandes Particulières menswear
For the first time, Hermès will open up their custom-made service in the Middle East at their flagship Dubai Mall store – meaning that discerning gentleman across the region will be able to enter the brand's bespoke universe. Men can visit and create a suit, choosing from 5000 fabrics, sitting for the 30 required measurements and then wait for the experts to embark on the 30–80 hours of work in the tailoring workshops before their bespoke creation arrives.
Speaking of the ultimate luxury available in the Hermès menswear portfolio, artistic director, Veronique Nichanian describes Commandes Particulières as: "An indescribable pleasure, a unique moment, where the wearer confides his dreams and desires. The choice of fabric, the grain of leather, the suitability of a cut, finishing details just for you. For Hermès, pleasure lies in the unique garment."
The service allows for the creation of bespoke suits, shirts, leather, knitwear, and informal wear and ties. A shirt can be custom built based on a series of selections and preferences concerning the choice of collar, cuffs, buttons, and of course, exclusive fabrics – before it is put together, piece-by-piece with the secret know-how of the Hermès tailoring workshops.
Hermès custom-made service for menswear is exclusively available at the flagship boutique, The Dubai Mall now.
